What we do

Five disciplines, one defensible plan.

MAMAT services are organized into five lines that map cleanly to the emergency-management lifecycle. Engage one, several, or the whole stack – every output is documented, defensible, and built to behanded off to the people who will run it.

Summer Camps

Plans for when camp is hours from the nearest ER

Day camps, overnight camps, specialty programs. Remote sites, water, weather, wildlife, and 200 kids whose parents expect them home safe. Insurers are asking harder questions every year. We build the plans that answer them.

What we deliver

  • Camp Emergency Plan

  • Medical Action Plan

  • Severe-weather decision tree (laminated)

  • Missing-person procedure

  • SFA + CPR-C training

  • EFA for junior volunteers

  • Pre-season readiness audit

  • Tabletop exercise

  • 72-hour site kits

Sports & Recreation

Built by Someone who’s been in the field

Triathlon events, hockey tournaments, league operations municipal recreation programs, multi-sport facilities. MAMAT’s founder spent 15 years in sport and recreation before starting MAMAT. We know what goes wrong at an event or in a program because we’ve seen it before.

What we deliver

  • Event Emergency Plan

  • Medical Action Plan

  • Severe-weather decision protocol

  • Event-day operations support

  • Staff/volunteer first aid training

  • Tabletop exercise

  • 72-hour kits

  • Annual plan review

Independent Schools

Plans your admin team can run, not just file.

Independent and charter schools often don’t have the divisional support that public schools rely on for emergency planning. MAMAT builds school-specific plans that map to Alberta expectations and work for the people actually in the building – teachers, office staff, custodians, support staff.

What we deliver

  • School ERP

  • Lockdown / hold-and-secure procedures

  • Reunification procedure

  • Communication protocol

  • SFA + CPR-C for staff

  • Tabletop exercise

  • Classroom emergency kits

  • Annual plan review

Seniors Housing

Emergency Plans for those who can’t self-evacuate.

Seniors lodges, assisted living, adult day programs, and community centres serving older adults. These facilities have residents and visitors with limited mobility, cognitive impairment, and complex medical needs. A fire alarm doesn’t just mean “walk outside” – it means a planned, practised, person-by-person evacuation with accountability for every individual.

What we deliver

  • Facility ERP (mobility-aware)

  • Evacuation plan with room-by-room accountability

  • Wandering / elopement procedure

  • Power-outage / HVAC protocols

  • Staff first aid + AED

  • Fire drill program

  • Tabletop exercise

  • 72-hour facility kits

  • Annual plan review

Small & Medium Business

Right-sized plans without enterprise overhead.

You know you need a plan. You don’t have a safety officer, a compliance team, or the bandwidth to build one internally. MAMAT delivers practical, regulation-meeting emergency and continuity plans sized for your actual operation – not a template off the internet, not a 200-page binder built for a Fortune 500.

What we deliver

  • Emergency Response Plan

  • Business Continuity Plan

  • Hazard register

  • SFA + CPR-C for staff

  • Tabletop exercise

  • 72-hour office and vehicle kits

  • Annual plan review

Prepared.
Practical.
Proven.

We don’t sell binders. We build plans that survive contact with reality – plans your team can actually execute at 2 a.m., on a holiday weekend, when the senior decision-maker is off-grid and the public is asking questions. Three principles run through every engagement.

How an engagement works

Defensible plans, in the language your team actually uses.

Every MAMAT engagement follows the same five phases. We start small, build incrementally, and leave you with documents your duty officer can pick up at 2 a.m. and run with.

01 Intake 60-min discovery call. We listen. You decide whether to keep going.
02 Hazard register Plain-language documentation of what could go wrong, ranked by likelihood and impact.
03 Tabletop We stress-test the plan on a Tuesday afternoon, with the people who’d actually run it.
04 Plan Final document, adopted by your board, owner, or organizing committee.
05 Handoff Annual review schedule. We’re available; you’re in charge.
